Oppo Silently Launches Mid-Range Smartphone A71 In Select Markets

The device is listed to be available in Malaysia for RM858, which translates to around Rs 12,913 in India.

 

Chinese smartphone makers seem to have been on a rage lately as each company is launching new smartphone one after the other over the past couple of days. Now, it looks like Oppo has rolled its dice by launching a new mid-range smartphone in select market.

However, the launch has been pretty silent, and the device dubbed as A71, is currently launched in Malaysia and Pakistan. Taking the website listing into consideration, the smartphone is priced at RM858 in Malaysia, which should translate to around Rs 12,913 in India. It is available in Gold and Black color options in the aforementioned regions.

Technically speaking, the Oppo A71 comes with a metal unibody design and features a 5.2 inch HD Display. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6750T octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz paired with a 3 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM. The internal storage can be expanded using microSD card.

On the camera department, the Oppo A71 sports a 13 MP sensor on the rear panel, and a 5 MP sensor for the front facing shooter. It also sports a 3,000 mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat based Color OS 3.1 out of the box.
