Nokia 3310 Launched In India For Rs 3,310

The redesigned legendary phone will be available for purchase starting from May 18.

It looks like the wait is finally over. Nokia fans in India can now have a sigh of relief as the redesigned Nokia 3310 has been launched in the country for a price of Rs 3,310. Well, it is definitely an interesting move by the company to keep the price amount (numerically) same as the phone’s model number. It is available for purchase from May 18.

With this release, another interesting fact is that, Nokia 3310 becomes the first Nokia phone manufacturer by HMD Global to actually enter India. Later, the company plans to launch its slew of Android smartphones as well including Nokia 6. Well, with this release, it is also worth noting that, India becomes one of the first countries where the device is actually going on for a sale.

Having said this, let us recall a little bit about the phone and it’s connection with the legendary 3310. The new Nokia 3310’s design is definitely based on the legendary 3310’s looks. However, the new Nokia 3310 comes with a modern look, and also better hardware.

Now, the display screen is a little large than the old, and also comes in bright color options including red and yellow, and dark blue and grey. Along with this, the new Nokia 3310 features a 2 MP camera and supports up to 32 GB microSD card. However, keep in mind that this phone is not an Android powered device. It runs on Nokia Series 30+ software.
