OnePlus 5 Summer Launch Teased By Company

The company has posted its second teaser image on Weibo clearly hinting at a Summer launch, probably in June.

 

While we recently heard the rumours of OnePlus 5 being launched soon, the Chinese company seems to have finally decided to reveal a bit of information officially.

OnePlus 5 name and its Summer launch was recently confirmed by the company via a recent post published on OnePlus’s Weibo account with a teaser image and a caption that reads, “Hey Summer! Give me five!” Well, this is the translated sentence, obviously.

The teaser image as you can see above has the words ‘HELLO 5’, which along with the caption clearly hints at OnePlus 5 launch to be held during Summer, most probably in June.

However, it is worth noting that this is the second rumour by the company, while we witnessed the first teaser image showing a couple of workers actually developing the smartphone. The first teaser was revealed during the first week of this month.

Adding further on this upcoming smartphone, the company has not yet revealed anything about its design and speculation. However, a few sketches were leaked on Weibo, not officially by the company, but from a Weibo user.

The sketches clearly show that the smartphone may be coming with a dual front facing and dual rear camera module and a ceramic back plate. We can see that the edges have been curved and may even witness a USB Type C port.
