Sony Launches Two Walkman Headsets; Price Starts From $148

Both these headsets are dustproof and waterproof with IP65 and IP68 certification.

 

Sony has recently announced the launch of its two new Bluetooth wearable headsets under its popular ‘Walkman’ series dubbed as Sony NW-WS623 at $148 and as NW-WS625 at $198. It is being said that both these new wearable headsets will be available for purchase starting from June, this year.

Speaking about the new headsets, reports claim that they can be used outdoors and during intense workouts as well, as both Sony NW-Ws623 and Sony NW-WS625 come with IP 65 and IP 68 certification making them dustproof and waterproof.

This means that, you can even use these headphones while taking a shower or while swimming too. It is claimed by the company that the new Walkman wearable headset is capable of withstanding extreme weather conditions.

Interestingly, both these Walkman headsets NW-WS623 and NW-WS625 come with internal storage of 4 GB and 16 GB respectively, while a single charge is said to be capable of keeping the headsets alive for around 12 hours.

A BGR report also mentions that a 3 minute re-charge of the headset is enough to actually listen to music for around 60 minutes. These headsets also feature Bluetooth, NFC, and can be controlled via Bluetooth-enabled remote.
