Tecno Mobile Launches 5 Smartphones In India

Price of these 5 new smartphones start from Rs 7,990 and will be available from offline retailers, starting from May.

 

Hong Kong based Transsion Holdings’ Tecno Mobile has entered the Indian smartphone market with the launch of five smartphones with price starting from Rs 7,990.

Smartphones are being christened as Tecno i3, i3 Pro, i5, i5 Pro, and i7, and come with price tags of Rs 7,990, Rs 9,990, Rs 11,490, Rs 12,990, and Rs 14,990 respectively.

Technically speaking, the Tecno i7, which seems to the costliest phone of them all, comes with a 16 MP front facing camera with LED flash as well. Also, it comes with a 13 MP rear camera with quad LED flash, 5.5 inch FHD IPS display, 1.5 GHz octa core processor, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, and 4,000 mAh battery.

On the other hand, both Tecno i3 and i3 Pro are pretty much similar, with only difference being the RAM - i3 sports 2 GB RAM and i3 Pro comes with 3 GB RAM. Other specs include 5 inch HD IPS display, 8 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera, 16 GB ROM, and 3,050 mAh battery.

However, we till have no detailed information about Tecno i5 and i5 Pro smartphones, and thus we expect the company to soon roll out this information pretty soon.

Having said this, it is worth noting that Transsion Holdings is the same Hong Kong company which is behind brands like Itel and Infinix.
