Xiaomi Launches Mi Headphones Comfort In India For Rs 2,999

The headphones come with gesture controls and boasts a minimalist design.

 

Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi has recently launched its new headphones dubbed as the Mi Headphones Comfort for a price tag of Rs 2,999, starting from April 18 on mi.com, the company’s very own website.

Xiaomi India’s Manu Kumar Jain recently teased the release of a new product by tweeting as — “Mi Fans: something NEW is coming today! It looks cool, sounds amazing and it feels super comfortable, what it could be? @XiaomiIndia.”

However, in just a while since the tweet reached out many of his followers, the company announced Mi Headphones Comfort, which boasts a minimalist design.

Speaking about the new headphones, they are wired over-the-ear headsets and are pretty light weight, while they sport soft PU leather ear cups, which are claimed to eliminate sound leakage, to enhance audio listening experience.

The Mi Headphones Comfort also features 3.5 mm jack and is compatible with almost any device. Adding further, the headphones also bring gesture control interface with them, which actually allows users to control music playback and answer calls as well.

The gestures include:

  • Single press on the left ear cup will answer calls
  • Three press on the left ear cup with take you to previous track
  • Easy press and release allows you to play and pause
  • Pressing twice takes you to the next track in the playlist
