LeEco Le Pro 3 AI Edition Smartphone Launched In China

The smartphone’s highlight is its AI-based assistant and dual rear camera setup.

 

Just as expected, Chinese smartphone company LeEco has finally launched its latest smartphone, the LeEco Le Pro 3 which has been highlighted for a while now, for its AI assistant. Along with this, the smartphone is also said to be the company’s first device with a dual rear camera setup.

Speaking about the smartphone launch, while pre-orders have already begun, it is expected to go sale on Friday in China. Availability of the smartphone in other regions is still not official.

However, in China, the smartphone is currently available in two variants - Helio X23 SoC model with 32 GB storage and Helio X27 SoC model with 64 GB ROM priced at CNY 1,799 and CNY 2,399. In Indian rupees, the price tags may translate to Rs 16,800 and Rs 22,500 respectively.

Technically speaking, the LeEco Le Pro 3 AI Edition smartphone comes with 5.5 inch FHD display screen, while being powered by a 2.3 GHz processor. Also, under the hood, we may find a 4 GB RAM and either 32 GB or 64 GB ROM as we mentioned earlier. Having said that, a 4,000 mAh battery backs the device and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It also gets two 13 MP rear camera sensor on the back and an 8 MP front facing camera.

However, as we mentioned earlier, the smartphone’s most talked about feature has been its AI based voice assistant known as LeLe. According to reports, the new AI voice assistant can be activated even when the screen is turned off as well, while it is said to be integrated with many apps in the LeEco’s ecosystem. It is also being said that the new virtual assistant is capable of learning more and more based on user’s habits and usage.
