Samsung Reveals New ‘Over The Horizon’ Ringtone On YouTube

The new ringtone is said to be preloaded in the Galaxy S8, set to be launched tomorrow.

After dealing with every leak and speculation, Samsung is all set to launch its much awaited Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones in New York tomorrow, i.e., March 29, 2017. However, ahead of launch, the company has finally revealed the new rendition of ‘Over the Horizon’, Samsung’s default ringtone.

Every year, the Electronics giant has been coming up with different versions of the original ringtone for different Galaxy devices. This year, Samsung has collaborated with Grammy award winner Jacob Collier to produce this year’s ‘Over the Horizon’ ringtone.

Samsung has uploaded the new version of the ringtone along with a mind boggling video on YouTube, that showcases Jacob as a ‘one-man band’. This new ringtone will be preloaded in the Galaxy S8, to be launched tomorrow.

Going by the rumours and reports that have surfaced earlier, both Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are expected to come with 5.8 inch and 6.2 inch Super AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution. Under the hood, both the smartphones are said to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 processor, while we may also see the Exynos 8895 chipset in some markets.

The devices will also be powered by a 4 GB RAM and 6 GB RAM (in some markets), and will be including a 16 MP dual pixel rear camera and an 8 MP front facing camera. Internal storage is expected to be around 128 GB while the battery may be around 3,000 mAh and 3,500 mAh.
