Nubia To Launch A Smartphone Dedicated For Photographs

The smartphone will feature a Sony IMX318 Exmor sensor to capture DSLR-like photos.

Chinese smartphone maker Nubia seems to be all set to announce its new smartphone which is claimed to be designed specifically keeping photographers in mind.

The smartphone would be sporting a 23 MP rear camera and a 13 MP front facing camera, and what makes it special is its Sony IMX318 Exmor sensor that is capable of capturing a DSLR-like photograph.

The camera module would be coming with phase detection auto focus and contact focus, sapphire protective lens, 6 piece motor drive lens with f/2.0 and NeoVision 6.0, according to a recent post published on BGR.

However, while not every specification of the smartphone has been revealed yet, some more details pertaining to the camera module has been put out through a couple of reports. The smartphone’s camera is also expected to come with features like motion blur, Star Track, and Light Painting. Well, in-fact, the camera would most likely be featuring a manual mode as well, pretty much like a DSLR camera.

Apart from these camera specific details, the company has also announced that the smartphone will be sleek and would be coming with bezel-less design. However, the name of the smartphone has not yet been revealed.
