Google Allo Gets Animated Emoji And GIF Search Features

The Google Assistant also helps you to share information and content right in the chat window.

 

Google has recently updated its Allo app with more interesting ways to converse with your friends and families. The new update brings a couple of new features that include a GIF search facility right inside the chat window itself, animated emoji, and Google Assistant to help you out at times of need.

Apparently, the new update adds a search bar where users can search for GIFs by actually typing in a set of words. In-fact, this update seems to be a follow up of the recently introduced Lucky chatbot by Google that adds randomly selected GIFs in the conversations.

Adding further, a report published on Tech2 mentions that ten frequently used emojis can now have animations, while users can also customise the size of the animations they want to be showed in the chat window. It is said that a simple slider does this trick.

And, with this update, as we mentioned earlier, Google Assistant is there at your fingertips, ready to answer your doubts and give you inputs. Well, the official blog post by Google further adds that the artificial assistant would not bore you down with insignificant answers.  In-fact, with the Google Assistant, you can now share lots of information right inside the chat windows.

Having said this, the officially blog post mentions that these new features with be available on Android starting today and will soon be on their way to iOS.
