Xiaomi Note 4 May Be Flipkart Exclusive

Flipkart tweeted a video, roped in cricketer Ravindra Jadeja and Xiaomi, and called the phone as an ‘All-Rounder’.

Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi has been rolling out a couple of teasers for a while now, about its upcoming smartphone, Redmi Note 4, set to be launched in India  on Jan 19.

A new teaser clearly hints at an exclusive partnership with Flipkart to sell the smartphone in the country. In-fact, to add more spice on this, Flipkart shared a video tweet recently. Interestingly, the company roped in Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja to promote the upcoming smartphone by Xiaomi as the country’s new all-rounder.

Well, the video showcasing a couple of tweets shared between Flipkart, Jadeja, and Xiaomi was a perfect marketing trick to get the buzz started.

The e-commerce giant also mentioned in the video that the upcoming smartphone by Xiaomi sports stunning looks, is lightning fast, has incredible stamina, and is the complete package.

While this marketing gimmick by Flipkart and Xiaomi is surely creative, most reports making rounds on the Internet expect the smartphone to be the Redmi Note 4.

To recall, it was launched in China back in August last year in two variants - 2 GB RAM/ 16 GB ROM and 3 GB RAM / 64 GB ROM. And as far as the pricing was considered back then, they came with CNY 899 and CNY 1,199 price tags respectively.

The smartphone features a 5.5 inch FHD 2.5D curved glass display, deca-core MediaTek Helio X29 processor, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front facing camera, and a 4,100 mAh battery. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
