Xiaomi May Launch Redmi Note 4 On Jan 19

The smartphone comes with 4,100 mAh battery and a deca core processor.

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi seems to be all set to launch the much talked about smartphone Redmi Note 4 in India on Jan 19. While the company has not yet confirmed whether the smartphone is Redmi Note 4 or not, it has started out sending early invites for a launch event being held in New Delhi.

To recall, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 was launched in China back in August, last year, in two variants - 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM, and 3 GB RAM and 64 GB of ROM, with price tags of CNY 899 and CNY 1,199 respectively. This translates to around Rs 9,000 and Rs 12,000 respectively. However, the Indian price may vary, as the company has not yet confirmed the pricing in India.

Available in Gold, Grey, and Silver color variants, the smartphone comes with 5.5 inch FHD display with 2.5D curved glass protection, and powered by deca core MediaTek Helio X20 processor.

The smartphone comes with  13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front facing camera with 85 degree wide angle lens. Along with the regular fingerprint scanner, the smartphone also comes with an infrared scanner, which mean that we may expect to use this device as a TV remote as well.

On the connectivity end, the smartphone comes with 3G, 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, Micro USB, and Glonass. The smartphone also sports a 4,100 mAh battery to juice up every other feature available in it.
