CES 2017: HiMirror Announces A "Smart" Mirror

The fancy mirror can recommend customized skincare routines.

HiMirror has announced the latest iteration of its "smart" mirror at the CEs 2017. Dubbed as the HiMirror Plus, this product can analyse a user's skin condition including wrinkles, fine lines, complexion, dark circles, spots and pores, and recommends customised skincare routines.

The HiMirror Plus comes with an LED make-up lighting. The company has also increased the product's storage to support up to six users. The mirror also comes with history tracking system that lets you view your progress each day and compare it with previous months. This allows you to quickly and easily see which products work for you. HiMirror Plus provides a secure way to log in using your face recognition technology. The company claims that the product has been developed with the support of experts in the fields of dermatology, cosmetics applications, and skincare. From the smartphone app, HiMirror recommends beauty products.

The product comes with two accessories — Smart Body Scale and HiSkin. Priced at $50, HiSkin is a hand-held device that connects to your HiMirror to provide analysis of your skin's condition. It can detect cuticle moisture and subcutaneous pigment precipitation, hyperpigmentation, dark circles, and acne scars. The Smart Body Scale does what it says and then some more. It can measure weight, body fat ratio (BFR), body mass index (BMI), total body water (TBW), muscle mass, bone mass, and basal metabolic rate (BMR). ALl this data is then synced with your HiMirror.
