Portronics Launches Dome Desktop Bluetooth Speaker

The speaker comes in a dome shaped body with embroidered cotton cloth mesh texture, giving it a premium feel.

 

Portronics has recently announced the launch of its new dome shaped Bluetooth speaker, dubbed as ‘Dome’. The speaker comes with an embroidered cotton cloth mesh texture on a solid dome-shaped speaker body, giving it a unique look.

A strong 180 degree foldable ring at the base allows Dome to hang on wall, tilt or stand freely on a desk as desired by you, according to a recent press release.

The speaker also features a 3.5 mm Aux-In port, Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity, and a  built-in microphone, so that it acts as a speakerphone. Also, the company touts about the two powerful 5W speakers as well as the dome shaped design that allow a great multi directional sound.

The company also adds in the statement, “The sound quality is much better than the noise levels as the Signal to Noise Ratio of the speaker stands at 80dB.  For a wholesome sound, the frequency response supported is very wide at 90Hz to 20Khz. Dome harnesses Audio Streaming Bluetooth standards like the Advance Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) along with Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP).”

The speaker comes with large Volume Control buttons that can also be used to play previous or next songs. Priced at Rs 2,499, the speaker is also water resistant and the 2,000 mAh battery allows you to play music for up to 6 hours. The speaker comes in Grey and Brown color schemes.
