Xiaomi Announces Mi Explorer Programme Ahead Of The Redmi Note 4 Launch

The company is banking on its fans to squash the bugs in its upcoming smartphone.

 

Xiaomi is back with its Mi Explorers programme in India. Under this initiative, the Chinese brand will select Mi Fans to experience the upcoming Redmi device. In order to be a part of the programme, you have to complete a few challenges.



According to Xiaomi, the feedback from Mi Explorer programme helps it iron out the bugs before the launch. For those not in the know, Xiaomi had previously tested the Redmi Note 3 in a similar fashion. Enrolling ensures that you get to be among the first to play with the latest Xiaomi phone. Moreover, Moreover, the company has promised an ultimate prize for top five Explorers. While the company hasn't shed any light on the prize, our guess is that Xiaomi will give away the Redmi Note 4 to the winners. Announced in August, the Note 4 is expected to cost Rs 13,000 in India.



Registrations open from 26th to 30th December. Those interested in the programme, head over to c.mi.com. To initiate the process, you require an Mi ID. After filling in your personal information, you will be subjected to a quiz. Answering 18 out of 20 question right will get your application though.
