Xiaomi Launches Mi Notebook Air With 4G VoLTE

The laptop is definitely not a pro variant as it was rumoured recently, though it comes with a SIM card slot to enjoy 4G internet.

After being rumoured a couple of times earlier, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air with 4G compatibility gets finally launched officially by the company in China.

Firstly, as the name itself suggests, the laptop comes with 4G VoLTE support, and as expected earlier, it is the upgraded version of the existing Mi Notebook Air. Adding further, the laptop comes with a SIM card slot through which users can surf the Internet without any need of a WiFi connection.

Also, as expected, the notebook comes in two screen sizes: 12.5 inch and 13.3 inch. We now have the official price tagged for both the variants as well. The 12.5 inch model comes at CNY 4,699 (Rs 45,843) and the 13.3 inch model at CNY 6,999 (Rs 62,282).

Interestingly, Xiaomi has also partnered with China Mobile to give buyers 4 GB of data per month, according to a recent post on The Indian Express.

Technically speaking, the 12.5 inch model comes with Intel Core M3 processor, 4 GB RAM, and 128 GB SSD Storage, while the 13.3 inch model equips an Intel Core i7 processor, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD. Also, the 13.3 inch model sports 1 GB DDR5 Nvidia GeForce GT 940MX GPU.

Having said this, both the variants run on Windows 10 operating system and sports a FHD display, instead of a rumoured 4K display. The notebook will be available in two color schemes: Gold and Silver.
