Xiaomi May Soon Launch A Smartphone With Snapdragon 821 SoC

The smartphone is tipped to sport a 4 GB RAM, 4.6 inch FHD display, 12 MP rear camera, 4 MP front facing camera and 2,600 mAh battery.

 

We have been seeing Xiaomi working on some of the most interesting designs and features for its smartphones, and the best example of one such innovating design was Mi Max, with bezel-less design.

And now, the Chinese smartphone company seems to be working on a smartphone that may not be as creative as Mi Max, but still packs a Snapdragon 821 processor and 4 GB RAM.

According to a few renders that have been leaked on Weibo, Xiaomi is working on a smartphone dubbed as Mi S, reports Gadgets360. Along with this, it looks like the Xiaomi Mi S smartphone may come with a 4.6 inch FHD display, 12 MP rear camera and 4 MP front facing camera, according to a report published on AndroidPure.

The reports also hint at a 2,600 mAh battery and connectivity options like NFC, USB Type C, and 3.5 mm audio jack.

Having said this, we still do not know whether the name Xiaomi Mi S is actually the official name itself or just a codename. Until further announced officially by the company itself, we may have to take this rumour with a pinch of salt as always.
