Snapchat Gets Group Chat Feature

You can now snapchat with a maximum of 16 friends in a group.

 

Snapchat has recently rolled out a new feature that allows users to chat with up to 16 people at the same time. Yes. The Group Chats feature is finally available on Snapchat, though the maximum number of people who can be in a group chat is limited to just 16, while many other messaging applications offer around 200 or even 300.

However, speaking about the new feature, chat can be sent to a group as usual, and also they would be deleted by default after 20 hours. Everything works pretty much the same as sending a regular snapchat. Also, one user can open and play the snap only once and soon, it will be deleted. Else, if the chat is not opened in 24 hours, it will be deleted automatically.

In a recently published blog post by SnapChat, it is also mentioned that, users can quickly switch over to a one-on-one chat as well by simply tapping the name of a friend in the group, that is available at the bottom of the chat.

Along with this, the company has also introduced two new Creative Tools christened as Scissors and Paintbrush, that can be used to cut out part of a Snap and turn the Snap into an artisitc masterpiece, according to the same blog post.
