Gionee M2017 To Launch On Dec 26

Chinese smartphone company Gionee had teased its upcoming smartphone M2017 last week, giving hints on its launch. However, this week, GIonee has shared a post on Weibo and made an announcement that the Gionee M2017 would be unveiled in an event held in China on Dec 26.

We already know that the highlight of the M2017 by Gionee is its massive 7,000 mAh battery. However, we are still unaware about the smartphone’s price tag and availability.

According to recent leaks, the smartphone may come with metal edges on four sides while power and volume button are placed on the right side of the smartphone. Having said this, the back of the smartphone comes with a rubberised finish giving a premium look.

Adding further, according to what we have seen on the certification site TENAA, Gionee M2017 would come with a 5.7 inch QHD display, while being powered by a 1.9 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor with 8 cores, 6 GB RAM, and a massive 128 GB of internal storage.

On the camera end, the smartphone is expected to come with a dual-rear camera setup with on 12 MP sensor and another 13 MP sensor, and an 8 MP selfie camera completes the package.

Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the smartphone supports dual SIM cards, and weighs around 230 grams. We also expect a fingerprint sensor integrated on to the Home Button.
