Asus Just Launched Insanely Big And Expensive Phones In India

The price of its latest flasghip smartphone starts at Rs 50,000.

 

Asus has launched the Zenfone 3 Ultra and Zenfone 3 Deluxe in India. These are company's top-end smartphones with the base model costing as much as Rs 50,000.

Smaller among the two, the Zenfone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) features a 5.7-inch Full HD AMOLED screen. It comes in Snapdragon 820 and Snapdragon 821 variants. The Snapdragon 820 version comes with 64 GB internal storage, whereas the latter packs-in 256 GB internal storage. Both variants come with 6 GB internal storage and a hybrid microSD card slot. The handset boasts of 23-megapixel camera backed by Sony's IMX318 sensor. The snapper features 4-axis OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation) and laser autofocus. For selfies, there's an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.



The phone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and A-GPS. It has a fingerprint sensor and Hi-Res Audio (HRA) output. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) comes with a 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. The ZenFone 3 Deluxe's Snapdragon 820 version with 64 GB storage is priced at Rs 50,000, For the top-end variant with Snapdragon 821 SoC (System on Chip), you will have to shell-out whopping Rs 63,000.



The Zenfone 3 Ultra sports a bigger 6.8-inch Full HD AMOLED screen. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 652 chipset. The phone comes with 4 GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. If you don't have a secondary SIM, you can use the hybrid slot to expand the storage. The Zenfone 3 Ultra boasts of a same 23-megapixel snapper as that of the Zenfone 3 Deluxe. It features a fingerprint sensor and Hi-Res Audio (HRA) output. The phone comes with a 4600 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0. The Zenfone 3 Ultra is priced at Rs 50,000.
