New OnePlus Oxygen OS Update Roll Out

The new update allows users to record video in 60fps in full-HD resolution, and fixes a couple of bugs.

 

OnePlus has recently started rolling out a new update to its Oxygen OS for its OnePlus 3 flagship smartphone. The new update, according to the what the company has announced, brings in support for Full-HD 60fps video recording and much more.

In its changelog, OnePlus has revealed that the new update adds emergency calling in India in accordance with the Government's idea of implementing a 'panic button' on every smartphone. So, the update allows users to make an emergency call by simply pressing the power button 3 times.

Along with this, the new update v3.2.8 brings optimization of Snapchat, thus fixing up video calling and scrolling logs, and other few bugs. The update also improves system stability.

In a recently published forum post, OnePlus has stated that the update will reach users over-the-air starting today, and will gradually roll out in a much broader way in the company days.

To recall, we had recently witnessed a teaser by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau as well that showed a short clip showing the logo of Android 7.0 Nougat, hinting at an Android N update for the OnePlus 3 users.
