Lenovo ZUK Edge Spotted Online

A screenshot of ZUK Edge ‘About’ section has been reportedly shared online via the company’s Vice President’s Weibo account.

Lenovo’s sub brand ZUK seems to be working on yet another smartphone, after the launch of ZUK Z1, ZUK Z2, and ZUK Z2 Plus. While, a couple of reports, including a recent one by Android Headlines claim that the new smartphone is dubbed as ZUK Edge, it is expected to sport a curved display on its sides, pretty much like Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.

Along with this, it is being reported by Android Headlines that the company’s CEO has teased ZUK Edge in both black and white color schemes. On top of this, the smartphone has been featured on AnTuTu Benchmarking tool as well.

According to the listing on AnTuTu, the new EDGE variant of the ZUK smartphone comes with a Full HD display with 6 GB of RAM powering it under the hood, coupled with a 64 GB of internal storage. The device comes with a 64 bit quad core Snapdragon processor by Qualcomm, while it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.

If we can really trust the AnTuTu listing, then the smartphone will also be coming with a 13 MP sensor in the back and an 8 MP camera on the front.

This is not it. A recent TENAA listing also claims that the ZUK Edge smartphone may feature a 5.5 inch display, while the Snapdragon processor comes clocked in at 2.35 GHz. It is worth noting that these information are not available on AnTuTu listing. And, in contrast to the AnTuTu listing, TENAA claims that the smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.

However, taking these speculations a bit further, the Vice President of Lenovo has recently shared a screenshot of ‘About’ section of the ZUK Edge on Weibo, therefore clearing some of the rumours and speculations that ave been making rounds lately.
