Gionee To Unveil S9 And S9T ON Nov 15

Prior to the unveiling, both the smartphones have been listed on China’s certification site TENAA.

 

Gionee seems to be all set to launch its new smartphones pretty soon, dubbed as the S9 and S9T. After getting spotted on the Chinese certification site TENAA, Gionee has finally announced today, that both smartphones would be unveiled on Nov 15.

While we have come across a couple of reports and rumours regarding the Gionee S9 and S9T smartphones, one of the most expected feature in the dual rear camera setup, which seems to have become a common fashion nowadays.

Adding further, both the smartphones may come with a 13 MP and 5 MP dual camera sensors which is definitely a major change over from Gionee S8’s single 16 MP sensor.

However, by observing the leaked images of Gone S9, we can clearly see that the rear camera setup is placed vertically, and in the middle. Above the camera module is the antenna line and below it is the Gone logo.

Having said this, the TENAA listing informs us that the Gionee S9 comes with a 5.5 inch FHD display with 2.5D curved glass, 1.8 GHz octa core processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. Users may get a 13 MP sensor on the front as well, along with a 3,000 mAh battery.

On the other hand, the Gionee S9T comes with a processor clocked at 2 GHz, while other specifications may sound similar.
