Xiaomi Launches Anti-Pollution Mask And Mi Portable Mouse

The Mi Portable Mouse comes with dual-mode function and anti-pollution mask sports a rechargeable air filter.

 

The Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi has recently announced the launch of two new and innovative products, an anti-pollution mask and a portable mouse, in China.

While the mouse has been definitely inspired by Apple’s Magic Mouse 2 in its design, Xiaomi has included a new function, which it calls as ‘dual-mode’. The new function allows the mouse to actually support two devices at the same time, and as we can pretty much expect, the new Mi Portable Mouse is pretty cheap that Apple’s Magic Mouse 2.

Mi Mouse comes in at CNY 99, which translates to around INR 1,000, and it said to be available for purchase in China starting Nov 11.

Users can connect the Mi Mouse with many devices including Mi TV, tablets, mobile phones, laptops, desktops, and others via Bluetooth v4.0 and and wireless adapter (2.4 GHz). And, to keep the mouse alive, one needs AAA batteries.

So, the dual-mode function works by allowing users to connect one device with Bluetooth and the other with wireless adapter. The mouse comes with a dedicated button to help users switch between two devices.

On the other hand, the anti-pollution mask by Xiaomi comes with a rechargeable air filter, and was launched on its crowd-funding programme. It comes with a price tag of CNY 89 which translates to around INR 900.

However, we still have no clue as to when these devices will be available for purchase in India.
