Will MacBook Pro Soon Lose Hackphone Jack?

Apple may soon plan for a similar fate with MacBook Pro, just as they did with iPhone 7 and 7Plus.

Well, MacBook Pro with OLED panel is expected to be launched officially in October, this year. But, wait... a new rumour is making rounds.

According to a post by Juli Clover on Mac Rumors, Apple has been sending out surveys to the users of current MacBook Pro with Retina display... and one question among them is "Do you ever use the headphone port on your MacBook Pro with Retina display?" Adding to this, here is a screenshot of the question asked by Apple, as tweeted by Singer Dan Masterson.

With the roll out of this survey, Apple has paved way for rumours about MacBook Pro losing the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

However, while the upcoming MacBook Pro is expected to be launched in October, chances are that, headphone jack will be rejected, only during the next design, that's down a few years, if at all that is the fate!

For now, we have already seen the leaked images of MacBook Pro's shell and we have clearly witnessed a headphone jack along with four USB Type-C ports. However, according to the shell, we might have to bid goodbye for SD card slot, HDMI port, and even MagSafe connection.
