Is Xiaomi Working On A 4.3 Inch Device?

Will this small screen device really make sense among heavy multimedia users in this 'phablet' era?

 

It looks like a few smartphone manufacturers seem to have understood that there is a market for small screen devices too. Well, we are not simply making any blatant statements over here. This is in parallel to the latest Xiaomi leak on Weibo.

Android Central which originally came to know about the leak has reported recently that Xiaomi may be working on a smartphone (probably a mini variant of the Mi 5) with a 4.3 inch display. Probably, the company will bring back the good old days when our mobile phones could be easily held in one hand; not to forget how easy it was to slide them inside our pockets!

However, speaking about the leak, the report by Android Central also states that the mini variant of the Mi 5 may be unveiled in June this year. The device may feature a 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 820 processor, adds the report.

Further specifications of the small screen device by Xiaomi as reported by Android Central are as follows:

3 GB of RAM
32 GB internal storage
13 MP rear camera
2,350 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0

Such high end features coupled with a small screen device is not commonly seen in the market, except the popular Apple iPhones that offer the best features in a small 4 inch package!

However, will that make sense for an Android lover? Not sure yet! We shall have to wait and watch.
