Microsoft Launches Lumia 950 & 950 XL; Price Starts From Rs 43,699

Microsoft is offering a free Continuum dock for users who pre-order the devices.


Microsoft has finally launched its Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL flagship smartphones in India today, Nov 30.

To recall, the launch of the smartphones pretty much syncs in with the speculations that surfaced recently.

Having said this, while the Lumia 950 comes with a price tag of Rs 43,699, the Lumia 950 XL is priced at Rs 49,399.

However, the smartphones are not yet available for purchase.

The company has announced that the Lumia 950 and 950 XL wil go on sale on Dec 11 via Amazon India and also through offline retail stores like Croma and Reliance Digital.

Along with this, if you pre-order the device, Microsoft has announced that it would be offering a free Continuum dock which enables you to use the smartphone as a computer while travelling.

Also, with this Indian launch, we can recall that the smartphones were first unveiled last month in New York.

Both the smartphones run on the new Windows 10 operating system and there fore bring in a lot of new features like improvised keyboard, universal apps, Cortana and Windows Hello that helps users to unlock their device by just scanning their face, iris or fingerprint.
