The iPhone 6 rumour mill is in full swing. Multiple sources are reporting that the upcoming handset will release "sooner" than expected. A few believable speculations point at a relatively "bigger" 4.3 or 4.5-inch screen. It's possible that Apple will go thin on bezels. You can't rule out the possibility of the use of Sapphire coating on the display. On the other hand, there are some rumours with little or no substance. Lastly, there are some rumours, which are downright hilarious. In this article we're going to cover just that.

Built-In Projector
An iPhone that can project a screen on any surface and boots into full-fledged Apple OS X operating system. What more would you want in your life? The answer: reality check. A built-in Projector lamp will result in a relatively thicker body and poor battery life. Since aesthetics and user-experience have always been priority for Apple, I'm sure the company wouldn't ditch its refined design for a feature most people won't even use.



Wrap-Around Screen
Wow, wrap-around screens. How cool is that! Yes, it's fancy, but is it useful? One would argue that notifications can be displayed on the phone's sides. But then, how does that help a user in any way? Well, it does not. In fact, existing users will be annoyed by the lack of volume buttons. Putting glass on sides is also a bad idea from a durability standpoint. More glass means more ways of getting your phone shattered.



New A9 Chipset
There are multiple websites claiming that the upcoming iPhone will pack in a brand new A9 chipset. However, that's unlikely to happen, and you don't have to be a tech enthusiast to find that out. Just basic math will do. The iPhone 5s features an A7 chip, which is the successor of A6. Now why on Earth would Apple skip A8 and directly launch A9?



Laser keyboard
According to a popular theory, iPhone 6 will feature a built-in virtual laser keyboard. This well laid-out keyboard will save you the trouble of typing on the iPhone’s 4-inch screen. Again, it all sounds good in concepts. Having used a similar laser keyboard on PC (you can buy one from here). I assure you that it’s the most uncomfortable tool for typing. I bet, you’ll choose any cumbersome touchscreen over these swanky keyboards. So again, in this case, don’t expect Apple to introduce a feature that doesn’t enhance the usability in any way.
