The Jack Daniel's Rock Awards is said to be the biggest and most prestigious annual rock awards show in the country. Currently in its seventh edition, it recognises original music produced by Indian rock bands in the past year. Online votes are open for the following popular choice categories: Song Of The Year, Album Of The Year, and Band Of The Year.

Nominations for the awards are now up online, and you can register to vote for songs from your favourite bands. The list of nominees includes popular names such as Indian Ocean and Pentagram, among others. The winning bands can stake claim to Rs 5,00,000 and voters can win Jack Daniel's memorabilia everyday until the end of voting. You can even hear the song before you cast your vote.

The website is a bit buggy, so be a little patient if you really want to support your favourite band. Last year, Death Metal band Demonic Resurrection won Band Of The Year, Scribe bagged Album Of The Year, and 1234 Dracula by Scribe was adjudged Song Of The Year. Who do you think will win this time?
