Microsoft Launches Cloud Services In Chennai, Pune & Mumbai

This definitely looks like a positive step in the digital transformation of India.

Microsoft has finally launched its public cloud services in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra on Tuesday.

Also, with the launch of the new cloud service, Chief Ministers of both the states inaugurated the newly conceptualized state-of-the-art data centers in the country from where the cloud operations are being started.

It is also being said that the cloud service launched from the company's data centers in Chennai, Mumbai and Pune would assist businesses in India to achieve growth and innovation.

Also, moving along with this, it is being said that the Tamil Nadu government and Microsoft have both signed a Memorandum of Understanding during the recently held Global Investors Meet held in Chennai.

Accordingly, the Tamil Nadu govt will be selecting 100 entrepreneurs and provide them training in Cloud Computing and Mobile technology and interestingly the training cost is expected to be borne by the government, not the entrepreneurs.

Speaking more about the newly launched local cloud services, we can expect these services to improvise the digital transformation we are witnessing across the country. This will also help in handling a wide range of data.
