It looks like Periscope for finally come up with a new update which is quite useful, especially to maintain the decency over the platform.

Elaborating this, we can tell that, Periscope for iOS has been updated by the app makers lately with a new privacy feature which actually enables you to block an inappropriate comment on a broadcast.

This new feature comes out as a tremendous one as it won't inform the blocked users about blocking their comments on your broadcast and also the comment will appear as blocked only to you and not the public.

Along with this, the latest updated version of the Periscope for iOS (v1.1.2) now enables editing of full name along with description and photo from your profile.

Also, it sees that the latest update has fixed many bugs including messages at the beginning of a replay to sync out, an audio encoder crash, a translation bug for Dutch users and more.

If in case you didn't know, Periscope was launched by Twitter and pose as a competitor for Meerkat.

The company also recently brought the video streaming app on to Android OS platform.
