Samsung Might Soon Turn Your Android Smartphone Into A Windows Laptop

Though the idea is great, we just have to wait and watch as to how far would this be success.

Imagine how would it be if you could place your Android phone in a docking apparatus and you would connect and automatically switch on to Windows mode!

Well, this may sound a type of fantasy dream, but, Samsung seems to be working on something similar.

A US Patent and Trademark Office publication on May 21 shows us clearly a patent filed by Samsung Electronics about a docking apparatus that could help turn an Android smartphone into a Windows laptop.

This means that a Samsung Galaxy Note, for instance, runs Android as we all know. But, when it is docked inside the laptop like shell companion component, it would automatically switch to run the Windows operating system such as Windows 10.

Also, according to the images published in the patent application, there seems to be a possibility of a trackpad being added along with an option for other OS to be used with the docking station in the future.

On a concluding note, while Samsung has surely filed a patent for the new technology, it does not necessarily mean that it would lead to a practical development very soon.

There seems to be too much of complex issues that might be attached with the concept as well such as; the smartphones which can be docked have to be of same type and size or else, the docking apparatus has to be of different type for every different type of mobile.

However, you can definitely have some hopes that in near future, the concept is somewhat possible and you can pretty soon switch over between Android and Windows operating system.
