Google Search Results on Android Now Shows Relevant App Installs

Users can install the app with just a single click directly on the search result page.

Google has now come up with a new update to its mobile search results on your Android smartphone.

Users who search in Google's mobile search will now be shown relevant mobile apps which they can install on their smartphones based up on their search query.

This definitely seems to be a great boon for many mobile developers as people can be very much aware of the different apps available out there in the Play Store.

Surprisingly, the users can also click on the 'Install' button over there itself making it easier for users to download those recommended apps.

Since it is pretty hard for the search engines to find content inside the apps, Google had introduced the App indexing in late 2014 which let the search engine index content from a select number of apps and link to it from its search results pages.

However, while then the users had to have the apps already installed on their phone, the new update helps users find relevant content in apps they don't already have on their phones.
