Lava Launches New Smartphone 'Icon' At Rs 11,990

The smartphone for now is exclusively available on Snapdeal with first 500 orders getting a free selfie stick.

 

Domestic mobile manufacturer Lava which is known for bringing out smartphones with some great features at reasonable prices has come up with a new smartphone dubbed as Icon.

Priced at Rs 11,990, the smartphone is exclusively available now on Snapdeal. The first 500 orders on Snapdeal will get a free selfie-stick along with the smartphone.

With features like dual-SIM support, 5-inch HD IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail glass protection, the Lava Icon is believed to be a great value for the price being concerned.



The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32 GB via micro SD card.

Coming to the camera features, the Lava Icon sports a 13 MP rear camera which is accompanied by a dual LED flash and a secondary 5 MP front-facing camera.

On the connectivity front, the Lava Icon includes 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options.

The smartphone packs a 2500mAh battery, which according to the company can deliver up to 20 hours of talk time on 2G and 9 hours of talk time on 3G networks.
