YotaPhone Price Slashes Down Again To Rs 8,999

The device comes with dual screens which makes it pretty unique from others.

 

After receiving many reviews on Flipkart regarding the price of the mobile phone, YotaPhone has finally decided to slash it down.

The newly fixed price for the world's first dual screen mobile phone is Rs 8,999 and is as usual available via Flipkart.

It can be noted that the 4.3-inch device was initially launched at Rs 23,499 and many users were left unsatisfied according to the Flipkart User Reviews.

To remind you, the device also has another display on its back which shows notifications, events and other details.

The YotaPhone is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Processor couple with a 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB internal memory.

The device also comes with features like 13 MP rear camera, LED flash, 2 MP front camera, accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor and ambient light sensors.

Connectivity options included in the smartphone are 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS and microUSB support. It is backed by an 1,800 mAh battery and runs on outdated Android 4.2.2 Jelly bean OS.

The phone also has special YotaPhone gestures and Put2Back applications for the back screen.

The YotaPhone was launched in India in October last year for Rs. 23,499.

Later, the price of YotaPhone was slashed to Rs. 17,999, then Rs 12,999 and now the price has reduced further to just Rs 8,999.

Since its launch the smartphones price has dropped by 64%, making it more affordable in India.
