Vivo Unviels Upgraded X5Max Model With Bigger Battery

The upgraded variant comes with a new MediaTek processor and 2300mAh battery.

Chinese mobile manufacturer Vivo has launched an upgraded variant of its Vivo X5Max smartphone recently.

The ugraded variant dubbed as X5Max+ is priced at Rs. 29,500.

It looks like there are no much differences between the original Vivo X5Max and the more recent X5Max+ except that the upgraded variant comes with a slighter larger battery pack and an all-new MediaTek chipset.

The Vivo X5Max+ comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6752 chipset which has a 1.7GHz octa-core CPU and 2GB of RAM.

The phone also equips 16GB on-board storage along with microSD card support for expansion up to 32GB.

Rest, the phone comes with bunch of features which are common nowadays - 13MP rear camera along with an LED flash, 5MP front-facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and a microUSB Port on the the connectivity front and dual-SIM support.

Since we have mentioned above that the X5Max+ comes with slight larger battery, it is good to note that it is just 300mAh more than the previous 2000mAh battery.

However, the new battery pack has increased the thickness of the X5Max+ to 5.1mm making it in line of the recently announced Gionee Elife S7.

The phone comes with the same Android KitKat version that was available on its original variant.
