Nokia, AirTel Tie Up To Offer Free Andoid App Dowloads For XL

Microsoft Mobile looks to strengthen its portfolio

In an attempt to strengthen their portfolio in India, Microsoft Mobile has struck some new deals and the latest is the tie-up with Airtel offering free download of Android apps on Nokia XL for six months.

Along with this plan, Airtel also offers the Nokia XL users 500MB of free usage to download apps from Nokia store and 1Mobile store.

Nokia was launched in the Indian market in May and there has been a lukewarm response for the device.

The Nokia XL sports a 5-inch display with 480 x 800 pixels of resolution, and is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon processor. It has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera with a 4GB storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
