Movie Maker 8.1 Is Now Free To Download For Your Windows Phone 8.1 Device

One of the easiest and most expansive mobile video editing tools available has now gone free for 3 days.

Venetasoft, the developers of the Movie Maker 8.1 app has now made its video editing app free for a limited time. The developers are apparently celebrating their World Cup victory over England and have now decided to give out the app free of cost till the 17th of June.

Clearly one of the most full-fledged video editing apps on the Window Phone Store, Venetasoft was the first company to push out a video editing app that made use of the brand-new API’s that Microsoft brought in with Window Phone 8.1.

The app allows you to add transitions, captions, images, additional videos and even background soundtracks to your creations. Moreover, clips can be copied, moved, deleted and duplicated just the way you need it. There is even a cool slow motion effect which can be cranked up all the way to 10X which is pretty unique in the Windows Phone space.

Movie Maker 8.1 is a universal app which means once you purchase the app for your Windows Phone, you can use the app on your Windows 8.1 device as well.
