Vivo Launches V15 Pro With A Pop-Up Selfie Camera For Rs 28,990

Offers premium features in mid-range segment.

Last year, Vivo introduced in-display fingerprint sensor and pop-up camera on its premium smartphones. Now, it is rolling out those features in the mid-range Vivo V15 Pro.

The Vivo V15 Pro sports a fullscreen 6.39-inch Super AMOLED display Full HD+ display. No ugly notches and just pure non-intrusive viewing experience with a screen-to-body ratio of over 91%. The rear panel of the phone is made of polycarbonate, but the acrylic gradient finish makes it look like glass. It is powered by an even more powerful Snapdragon 675 SoC (System on Chip) which is built on the 11nm process and can handle games without breaking a sweat. It comes equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage which can be extended further via the dedicated microSD slot.

The V11 Pro also has quad cameras on deck. Vivo has equipped it with a mechanically operated selfie pop-up camera which is a 32-megapixel sensor and can face unlock in less than half a second. At the rear it gets a triple camera sensor which consists of a primary 48-megapixel Samsung sensor which uses 4-in-1 pixel binning technology to provide better low light image output. There is an 8-megapixel 120-degree wide angle sensor and a 5-megapixel depth sensor as well.

The handset also comes with a 5th Generation in-display fingerprint sensor which is better than on the V11 Pro. The V15 Pro runs on Funtouch OS 9.0 on top of Android Pie 9.0 out of the box. It comes packed with a 3700 mAh battery with proprietary Dual-Engine fast charging support. The Vivo V15 Pro is available for pre-order on Amazon.in and will be available for sale via online and offline channels from March 8.
