Vivo Y71 Offers Android Oreo And Thin-Bezel Screen For Rs 10,999

Vivo has launched its latest Y-series handset Vivo Y71 in India. The Y-series category of handsets from Vivo are known for competitive pricing. The Vivo Y71 offers a "fullscreen" display for Rs 10,999. Although a few grand expensive than its nemesis Redmi 5, the Y71 makes a strong case for itself.
 
 
The smartphone comes with a sleek aluminium unibody and flaunts a 6-inch HD+ 2.5D curved display with a tall 18:9 aspect ratio on the front. The rear is uncluttered with nicely tucked antenna lines but misses the fingerprint sensor. It makes do with the Face Unlock feature. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC which works on 14nm FinFET process. It bears in 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, which can be extended further via the microSD card slot up to a maximum of 256 GB.
 
On the photography front, it comes with a single lens 13-megapixel rear facing camera coupled with LED flash support. For the selfie aficionados it comes with a 5-megapixel front facing shooter. On the connectivity front, the Vivo Y71 comes with Dual-SIM and 4G VoLTE calling support, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi and GPS. It comes loaded with Android Oreo with Vivo’s FunTouch skin on top.
