LG to launch New 2017 K series smartphones In India

The phones may be announced at Indian Mobile World Congress, which is being held from September 27 to September 29 in New Delhi.

 

South Korean tech giant LG is all set to launch its latest budget smartphones in India. the company will launch its K3 (2017) and K4 (2017) smartphones. It is expected that the company may release both the smartphones at the Indian Mobile World Congress, which is being held from September 27 to September 29 in New Delhi.

At the beginning of this year, LG rolled out four new K-Series smartphones globally, at the CES 2017, in Las Vegas of which two - LG K8 and LG K10 2017 editions were brought into the Indian market. The LG K8 (2017), priced at Rs. 11,000 was launched in August. Prior to this, LG K10 (2017) was unveiled in February this year and was priced at Rs. 13,990.

The LG K3 (2017) and LG K4 (2017) smartphones were also announced; however, there was no pricing announced for both the phones.

The LG K3 (2017) has a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) IPS display and sports a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 SoC along with 1 GB of RAM, and 8GB of inbuilt storage with expandable storage up to 32GB through microSD card.   

LG K3 (2017) runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and features a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and also has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It measures 133.9x69.7x9.4mm and weighs 132 grams. Connectivity options on the handset includes 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and Micro-USB. The phone also has a 2100mAh removable battery and will be available in Metallic Titan as well as Pink Gold colours.

The LG K4 (2017) sports a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display with a pixel density of 196ppi. It comes with 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM and has 8 GB inbuilt storage with expandable storage via microSD card (up to 32GB). It packs in 5-megapixel front and rear cameras and is powered by the same processor as the LG K3. The phone comes with a 2500mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It measures 144.7x72.6x7.9mm and weighs 135 grams.

The phones connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and Micro-USB. The color options of the handset include Titan and Black.
