Galax Launches GTX 1070 Katana 8 GB Graphics Card

This is touted as the first GTX 1070 of Single Slot in the world, with a thickness of just 16 mm.

 

Galax has recently unveiled a super-thin graphics card dubbed as the Galax GTX 1070 Katana 8 GB which is also touted as the world’s first and only graphic card of Single Slot.

According to a recent press release, the GeForce GTX 1070 is powered by NVidia Pascal and as the name itself suggests, it comes with an 8 GB of 245 Bit GDDR5 Memory with a boost clock of 1708 MHz.

This card also packs the Turbo radiator barrel fan which provides efficient cooling while providing uncompromising performance. It is also SLI ready and only takes up two slots and makes this the ultimate choice for those that desire a single slot.

Speaking about the design, it comes fitted with copper cooling fin and advanced vapor chamber, which helps it in maintaining consistent performance even in thermally challenging scenario. The special holes on the bracket enable more heated air to come out keeping the rest of components cool and avoiding thermal throttling.

The graphic card is available in the market for Rs 45,000 and comes with a 3 year warranty. It is said to be available for purchase in all leading e-commerce stores as well including Amazon.in and Flipkart.com.
