Moto Z2 Play Is Out In India For Rs 27,999

Lenovo-owned Motorola has recently launched its new smartphone in India — the Moto Z2 Play, for a price tag of Rs 27,999, available in two color options — Lunar Grey and Fine Gold. The smartphone is announced to be available for purchase across leading retail stores and e-commerce portal Flipkart, starting from June 15. However, you can pre-book it before June 14 and get a 100 GB Jio 4G data free.

The smartphone comes with a 5.5 inch FHD Super AMOLED display, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor, 4 GB RAM, and 64 GB ROM. The device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system, and also sports a physical home button which also doubles up as a fingerprint sensor.

In the camera department, the Moto Z2 Play comes with  12 MP sensor on the back and a 5 MP front facing shooter. Backing all these features comes a 3,000 mAh battery, which according to the company, lasts around 30 hours of medium phone usage.

Along with this, the company has launched four new mods — JBL SoundBoost 2, Moto TurboPower pack, Moto Gamepad, and Moto Style Shell; all coming with easy snap-on features.

While the gamepad allows users to play smartphone games in super-cool console style, the JBL SoundBoost 2 boosts the sound output and TurboPower pack adds an additional 3,490 mAh of battery. Finally, Moto Style Shell mod adds in wireless charging feature into the phone.
