Google Allo To Soon Get New Features And Improvements

The APK teardown of Google Allo 9.0 hints at possible improvements that we may soon see.

 

Google Allo is definitely becoming a super-cool messaging app recently with youngsters turning over to it for the sake of Assistant support, smart replies, fun stickers, shout or whisper options, and a number of other neat features. However, Google seems to be not done with it yet. It looks like they have plenty of other features and improvements coming up in the future versions.

The evidence of these future improvements has been spotted by 9to5Google when they released an APK teardown of the recently released version of Google Allo - v9.0.

The teardown as given out by 9to5Google first hints at the very important feature - backing up your chat threads. Well, this is already available in WhatsApp, which as we know, is a direct competitor to Google Allo. It is also being said that users may have the option to choose where to actually backup the conversation threads.

Additionally, the APK teardown suggests a probable direct button to access Quick Selfie mode and live preview. Well, to recall, this was already speculated earlier. Another code string from the teardown gives us clue about ‘Group Incognito Chats’ and ability to create your own stickers out of selfies! In fact, it is reported that 9to5Google recently a code along with a message that says - “Take a selfie and we’ll automagically generate a sticker pack in your likeness. For best results, keep a neutral expression”.
