Apple May Launch New iMac Pro Model By October This Year

A new post published on Pike’s Universum mentions what we may expect from the new iMac model.

 

Last week, new reports emerged online stating that Apple would be bringing out new and improved iMac models this year, which according to the reports would be made specifically for professional users.

Now, a new report has arrived that suggests these iMac models would be unveiled in October this year, while giving out information on what we may expect from the upcoming iMac models.

A blog known as Pike’s Universum has recently published a post online stating that the new iMac models will be featuring Intel E301285 v6 processor coupled with either 16 GB, 32 GB, or 64 GB of ECC memory. Also, the new iMac is claimed to be supporting upto 2 TB SSD's along with AMD graphics to support VR and Pro apps.

Along with this, the Pike’s Universum also mentions that Thunderbolt 3 and USB Type C ports would be present in the new iMac models. Additionally, we may even see a new keyboard with chances of boasting a Touch Bar as well.

The post also touches a bit on the display as well, and accordingly, we may expect an 8K display on the iMac.
