Huawei Launches Honor 8 Pro; Comes With Dual Rear Camera

Huawei sub-brand Honor has finally launched its new smartphone, the Honor 8 Pro in Europe, which is said to be the upgraded variant of the Honor 8 smartphone. On the other hand, a report published in Gadgets360 mentions that this new Pro variant of Honor 8 is actually the rebranded version of the Honor V9 that was launched in China a few months ago.

Going by the line, we can clearly see that is no difference in specifications between Honor V9 and the Honor 8 Pro, though the latter comes in Navy Blue, Platinum Gold, and Midnight Black color options.

Technically, the key feature of the Honor 8 Pro is its dual camera setup on the back panel that comprises of two 12 MP sensors. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat based Huawei’s EMUI 5.1 OS, while it sports a 5.5 inch QHD LTPS LCD display and is powered by Kirin 960 processor coupled with 6 GB RAM. It also comes with 64 GB of internal storage.

Adding more details about the camera department of the smartphone, it comes with a front facing camera of 8 MP with f/2.0 aperture. The device also packs a 4,000 man battery and connectivity options include NFC, USB Type C, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, and it also includes a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

Having said this, one more interesting fact about the Honor 8 Pro is its retail box. Well, it is claimed to turn into a Google Cardboard viewer for VR as well. Pretty cool!
