It has just been a week since the company opened up registrations for the early access program.

Samsung has finally launched its mobile payments services called as Samsung Pay in India, today. It was announced during the launch that the company has collaborated with banks like Axis, HDFC, ICICI, SBI, and Standard Chartered to enable its Samsung Pay service.

The company has also tied up with Paytm allowing users to add their Paytm wallet accounts in the Samsung Pay app. Along with this, the post published on SamMobile mentions that the Samsung Pay may soon support Citibank cards as well.

In-fact, there are other rumours that suggest Samsung’s collaboration with American express as well. However, there are no official signs expressed yet.

To recall, the service was teased in India last month and people were allowed to sign up for the early access program just last week. However, only those who have Galaxy S7/S7 Edge. S6 Edge+, Note 5, Galaxy A5 (2016), or Galaxy A7 (2016) can actually use the payments service in India.
