Super Mario Is Now Available For Download On iOS Devices

In the game, Mario runs automatically and you can only control his jumps and attacks.

 

We have a great news for all the fans of Super Mario out there. Developers Nintendo have finally rolled out the legendary game to iOS platform for users to play for free. However, to experience the complete game, you have to purchase it for INR 620.

To recall, the man behind Super Mario, Shigeru Miyamoto had made an appearance during the launch of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and announced that the game would be created first for the Apple users. Right on time, the game is out now, being called as Super Mario Run.

Having said this, the game may disappoint the original Super Mario fans, as they may miss the actual look and feel of the original Nintendo game. Now, it looks more like Temple Run (though it doesn’t have a flash 3D look). But, the best part is - you can play in one hand.

And yeah, let me make it clear that it is an endless runner though. The movement of Mari depends on where he is. However, it is worth noting that, his movements are automatic.

The game’s background score also resembles at many parts the original score that was used in the original Super Mario game. You can collect coins, grow your size for some time, squash all the enemies, and do almost anything that you would do while playing the earlier Super Mario. However, the only thing that you may miss is that you have no control on the movement and speed of the popular Plumber who is in search of his princess!

The game can be downloaded on any iOS devices running on iOS 8.0 and above, and you will be getting to play in three modes. While the first mode is known as ‘World Tour’, the second and the third modes are called ‘Toad Rally’ and ‘Kingdom Builder’.

While ‘World Tour’ is what we have known all these years; jumping and squashing the enemies to rescue the princess, the second mode allows you to compete with other players and gather coins, and the third mode lets you build your own kingdom by gathering coins and toads.

Super Mario Run is now available for download in India as well, along with other 150 countries, and for those Android users, you may have to wait until luck turns your way.
