Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 May Be Launched On Dec 30

This time, the Chinese company is expected to bring the Mi Pad 3 with Windows 10 running out-of-the-box.

According to rumours that are popping up recently, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi is all set to launch a new tablet in China on Dec 30, this year.

Being christened as Xiaomi Mi Pad 3, the company is expected to bring in couple of major upgrades from the previous Xiaomi Mi Pad. Comparing it with the older models, we may see an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor in the new tablet. Also, it is expected to be integrated at the front.

While the price tag is expected to be somewhere around CNY 1,999 which roughly translates to INR 20,000 for the 128 GB storage model, it is also being said that a 256 GB model may be released for CNY 2,299 (around INR 22,500). Apparently, the company may also launch a magnetic keyboard for the Mi Pad 3, worth around CNY 99, according to recent report published on Gadgets 360.

Let’s not just stop here, but also see what other rumoured specifications are, according to a recent report by GizmoChina. Well, the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is expected to come with a 9.7 inch display, while being powered by a 2.6 GHz dual-core Intel M3-7Y30 processor coupled with 8 GB of RAM.

However, reports claim that the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 will be launched with just Windows 10 out-of-the-box. It is also said that the tablet would be sporting an all-metal body and feature a massive 8,290 mAh battery, that supports fast charging.

Finally, on the camera end, the rear camera is expected to sport a 16 MP sensor and the front camera may be equipped with an 8 MP shooter.
