Huawei Mate 9 Pro May Sport A Curved Edge QHD Display

The smartphone’s latest images have been leaked by Evan Bass, popularly known by his Twitter handle @Eveleaks

 

While we have been witnessing a number of speculations regarding the Huawei Mate 9 smartphone, a recent one even revealed the Mate 9 Pro variant of the same device.

The reveal comes from Evan Blass, popularly known by his Twitter handle @eveleaks and according to the leaked images, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro is expected to come with a dual-curved edge display, making the smartphone look more like the infamous Galaxy Note 7.

Also, so far, the speculations have showcased the smartphone to come with 5.9 inch FHD Neo IPS LCD display, while the company’s very own Kirin 960 octal core processor coupled with a 4 GB RAM is expected to power the device, under the hood.

The smartphone’s camera setup features a dual camera module in the rear, and the resolution may be up to 20 MP, and the for the lens, the company is said to have partnered with Leica. It is also being said that both Huawei and Leica have jointly developed a new unique Picture Quality Algorithm.

Also, on the other hand, the smartphone is expected to come in three storage variants - 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB. Having said this, the main difference between the Pro variant of the Mate 9 and the regular variant is that the Mate 9 Pro comes with curved edge display with a Quad HD resolution. This means that, the device is actually compatible with Google DayDream.

The smartphone is expected to get launched on Nov 3, where all these speculations will be officially announced, if they actually turn out to be true.
